Shri Paresh Shreesh Parasnis

Shri Paresh Shreesh Parasnis has been a member of the Board of Directors since December, 2022. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with over 38 years of rich experience in strategy, board engagement, project management and building & executing robust servicing models.

From August 2012 to March 2021, He was heading the Piramal Foundation, one of India’s leading foundations committed to addressing social issues through high impact solutions, thought leadership and partnerships. Prior to joining the Piramal Foundation, Paresh served as Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer with HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited. During his tenure with HDFC Life (2000-2012) he was a Member of various Board Committees and Chair / Member of Management Committees. He has worked in various senior roles with HDFC Limited (1984-2000) & with Hindustan Lever Limited for two years (1982-84).

He has also been a consultant to the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Paresh is the Chairman of the Board of Invesco Asset Management (India) Pvt Ltd and a board member of Kotak Mahindra Investments Limited & CreditAccess Life Insurance Limited. He has earlier served on the board of Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance (2014-2022).

Sandip Goenka

Managing Director & CEO (Designate)

Mr. Sandip Goenka is the Managing Director & CEO (Designate) of the Company. He is a seasoned insurance executive with over 22 years of experience across Life, Health, General Insurance, Reinsurance and Consulting, with leadership exposure across India, the UK and Singapore.

Prior to joining the Company, he served as Managing Director & CEO of ACKO Life and was a founding member of its leadership team, playing a key role in building a digital-first life insurance business with a strong focus on growth, financial performance, governance and innovation.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Goenka has held senior leadership roles at Exide Life Insurance, Tata AIA Life Insurance, EY and Gen Re. His experience spans business strategy, financial management, actuarial and risk management, capital planning, M&A, governance and regulatory matters. He brings extensive experience in building and scaling insurance businesses, strengthening institutional capabilities, driving capital efficiency and developing customer-centric solutions.

Mr. Goenka is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, and the Institute of Actuaries of India. He has also completed an Executive Education Program at Columbia Business School.

Udaya Kumar

Nominee Director

Mr. Udaya Kumar Hebbar is the Nominee Director of our Company. With a distinguished career in banking that spans over 40 years, Mr. Hebbar brings a wealth of experience in operations, particularly in rural, agricultural, and micro-banking fields. Before joining CA Life, Mr. Hebbar was the Managing Director of CreditAccess Grameen Limited. Prior to that he had held Head of Commercial Banking and Payment Operations at Barclays Bank PLC. His extensive background also includes notable tenures at Corporation Bank and ICICI Bank, where he made significant contributions over more than a decade each. Under his leadership, CreditAccess Grameen Limited has grown to become the largest Microfinance Institution (MFI) in the country while his commitment to stringent corporate governance standards has helped the institution earn top ratings and prestigious industry accolades.

Mr. Hebbar is known in the microfinance industry for his leadership style involving a collaborative approach, helping foster a culture of innovation and excellence among his team. He has served twice as the Chairperson of Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN) in the past.

Shri Apparao Adivi

Apparao Adivi is a professionally qualified associate actuary with 40 years of experience in life insurance, general/health insurance, unit linked business (investment / insurance), pensions and actuarial consulting.

He has worked mainly in the areas of actuarial valuations, product development and risk management.

Mr.Ganesh Krishnan

Nominee Director

Mr. Ganesh Krishnan is a renowned serial entrepreneur and Partner at GrowthStory, India’s leading venture builder platform. He has played a pivotal role in creating and scaling some of India’s most successful new age companies, including BigBasket, Portea Medical, Bluestone, and HomeLane.

A seasoned entrepreneur with a proven track record of launching and exiting four successful ventures, Mr. Ganesh has built and exited multiple ventures, including TutorVista (acquired by Pearson), Marketics (acquired by WNS), CustomerAsset (acquired by ICICI Bank; now operating as FirstSource Solutions), and IT&T (acquired by iGate).

He serves on the several boards in the technology, healthcare, and consumer internet sectors, and has previously contributed to the institutions such as IIM Calcutta, Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank (Independent Director), and the IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, which he started as Founder Director,

A distinguished alumnus of IIM Calcutta and Delhi University, he is also Adjunct Faculty at IIM Bangalore and Visiting Faculty at the Indian School of Business, teaching courses on new age business models and disruptive technologies.

He is an Author too and his “Mastering Disruption – A Practical Guide to New Age Business Models” book is the No.1 Best Seller on Amazon platform in its category.

Mr. Ganesh is an active angel investor, mentor, and speaker at entrepreneurship and technology forums. Through the Bahaar Foundation, he supports social initiatives that create micro entrepreneurs and deliver large scale community impact.

Smt. P.H. Vijaya Deepti

Independent Director

Smt. P. H. Vijaya Deepti was working with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for over three decades and contributed in multiple roles, both at the Corporate and Business Unit Level. As part of the Corporate Governance Team, she supported a large number of SBUs in their strategic initiatives and programs.

Smt. Deepti was earlier on the Board of Diligenta which is a Regulated Subsidiary of TCS in UK. As Head of Global Insurance Product Business at TCS, she was responsible for product development and client delivery initiatives globally. Previously, she served as the Head of Global Insurance Delivery with an additional responsibility to grow UK and European Insurance business. Under her leadership, the TCS Insurance unit won a number of strategic large deals, acquired new customers and achieved multi-fold growth.

In Dec 2009, she was conferred the “Leading Businesswoman of The Year” award by Women Leaders in India (WLII) in recognition for her contribution towards growing the insurance business within TCS despite the global economic downturn.

She has been working with many NGOs in areas such as Integrated Forest Management, Education for under-privileged and grooming of leadership talent. She is currently and Independent Director of Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited and Aster DM Healthcare Limited.
