Diwakar Ram Boddupalli

Diwakar Ram Boddupalli is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CreditAccess Life Insurance Ltd., (CALI). CALI has been established under Diwakar’s leadership, with his conceptualizing a differentiated business model of building a life insurance company that is dedicated to providing insurance solutions to the unserved and under-served segments of the country.

Before taking up this new profile at CALI, Diwakar was the Executive Director & CEO of CreditAccess India, Amsterdam, Netherlands, which is the promoter entity of CALI.

Prior to this, Diwakar was the Director (Finance) & CFO of CreditAccess Grameen Ltd., steering the company into establishing itself as the leading NBFC-MFI in India. He spearheaded the company’s successful Listing through IPO (in 2018) and the acquisition of Madura Microfinance Ltd., another prominent NBFC-MFI.

He started his career with Life Insurance Corporation of India and moved to work with institutions like SIDBI, ICICI Bank and ACCION. During his 30-year experience, he headed critical and diverse functions in Finance, Credit and Risk Management, notably in providing solutions to clientele in the SME and low-income space.

Diwakar holds a Master's Degree in Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad and certifications from Indian Institute of Bankers and Insurance Institute of India.

Arundhati Ghoshal

Arundhati is a seasoned Actuary boasting an impressive two-decade career working with esteemed global insurance companies and consultancies. Her professional journey includes influential roles at Aviva Life Insurance Company, Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company, American Life Insurance Company (UK), Legal and General Assurance Society (UK), Pension Insurance Corporation (UK), Prudential (UK), Willis Towers Watson, and MetLife Global Shared Services.

Throughout her extensive experience, Arundhati has demonstrated expertise in leading large teams across various domains such as valuation, capital management, risk management, and product development. Her contributions extend beyond routine tasks, encompassing special consulting projects and active involvement in business development initiatives. Notably, she established her firm in the UK, offering tailored actuarial services to clients.

Arundhati's academic background is equally noteworthy, holding a master’s degree in physics from IIT, Bombay, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Science from City, University of London. Recognized as a Commonwealth Scholar, she is also a Fellow Actuary accredited by the Institute of Actuaries of India and the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, UK. Her diverse skillset and extensive industry experience position her as a valuable expert in actuarial science.

T V Ramakrishna

T V RAMAKRISHNA has been associated with CreditAccess Life Insurance Limited as a Founding Team Member from November2022. He is the CFO of the company overseeing Finance and related functions. He has around two decades of experience in life insurance industry. Prior to joining CreditAccess Life Insurance Limited, Ramakrishna was associated with PNB MetLife as Associate Director.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Bangalore and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Uday Shanker

Chief Operating Officer responsible for the entire business operations. He is a Founding Team member of CALI, having joined CreditAccess Life in November’22. He has extensive experience in insurance operations and was previously associated with Ageas Federal Life Insurance and Tata AIA Life Insurance in the capacity of VP- Operations.

Gowthaman Sounderraj

Gowthaman Sounderraj serves as the Chief Business Officer at CreditAccess Life Insurance Limited (CALI). As a key founding member of the company, his responsibilities encompass spearheading business development and establishing a robust distribution network. His role is pivotal in achieving growth targets and broadening the customer base. With a career spanning over three decades, Gowthaman is esteemed for his expertise in strategic business planning, business development, distribution channel management, and operations management.

Before his tenure at CALI, which began in January 2024, Gowthaman had extensive and diverse experience with SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd., where he engaged in various roles over a period of twenty years. His last role at SBI Life was as Senior Vice President in the Group Corporate Solutions channel.

Gowthaman's professional journey commenced in the consumer durables sector, followed by significant tenures at Hindustan Unilever Ltd. and the Shell Group prior to his engagement with SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a consistent track record of developing and executing strategies that enhance distribution channels and provide a seamless client experience across multiple product sales platforms. His proficiency in strategizing, aligning, and executing company-wide initiatives has notably led to significant achievements in areas such as annualized new business, value generation, quality retention, and agency expansion.

Academically, Gowthaman Sounderraj holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Strategic Management from IIM,Nagpur in addition to a bachelor's degree in arts from Osmania University and an executive certificate in corporate governance from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). His academic background, coupled with his extensive professional experience, positions him as a distinguished leader in the insurance and financial services sectors.

Sai Gunaranjan Jain

Sai Gunaranjan Jain is the Investment Manager of our Company. He joined CALI in February 2023 with an overall experience in financial services for almost two decades. Previously, he was associated with Invesco Asset Management as Vice President for Karnataka region for more than eight years. He is responsible for overseeing the investment function in our Company.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (honours) and a post graduate diploma in Master of Financial Management from the Sathya Sai University.

Ganesh Hegde

Ganesh Hegde serves as the Company Secretary of our organization. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and is an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

With over 10 years of experience, he specializes in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, secretarial functions, and boardroom management for listed companies.

Before joining CreditAccess Life Insurance Limited, he was associated with CreditAccess Grameen Limited.

Dr. Shrinivas Sathya Susarla

Dr. Shrinivas Sathya Susarla is the Chief Risk Officer of our Company. He joined CALI in July 2025 with 30 years of strong leadership experience from the insurance industry. He has a deep background in managing operations, developing IT applications, and implementing large systems for both life and non-life insurers in India and globally.

Before joining us, he worked at well-known companies like LIC of India, ING Life (now HDFC Life), Wipro, NDFS, and Mphasis.

He recently earned a Doctorate from the prestigious Swiss School of Business Management in Geneva. He is also a certified coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation US, a Project Management Expert, and holds several other top industry certifications, including Fellow, Insurance Institute of India (FIII), and Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).

Manoj Nair

Manoj Nair is CALI's Chief Compliance Officer. He graduated in Finance from IIM Kozhikode and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Management from IITTM, Gwalior. He is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), a Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) professional, and a certified Data Scientist and Business Analyst.

He brings over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, with leadership roles in leading private sector banks such as ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, and most recently as Chief Risk Officer and Internal Audit Head at IndBank Global Support Services (a wholly owned subsidiary of Indian Bank). His core expertise lies in enterprise-wide risk management, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and governance. He takes pride in building strong frameworks that balance risk with sustainable growth.

Bharatraj Panchal

Bharatraj Panchal is the Company Secretary of CALI, having joined the company in January 2023 and handles the Legal, Compliance and Secretarial function. He carries more than 14 years of experience in the Manufacturing and Service industry.

A Qualified Company Secretary and Law Graduate with a Master’s Degree in Commerce from Karnataka University.
